Hay Fever

Use Pegasus hayfever 6C remedy for sneezing, streaming watery discharges from puffy eyes and running nose, even itching in the eyes and ear canals. Other symptoms include itchy nose and an itchy palate. An itchy palate is a very distinctive and important symptom as it most clearly indicates hay fever. People often ask when they should take hay fever or the histamine complex and an itchy palate is the condition that helps to make that decision.

While symptoms are acute suck 3-5 pillules in a clean, dry mouth every half an hour until relief is obtained thereafter every 2-4 hours as needed.

Allergies & Sinus

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinus cavities which can be acute or chronic and often causes significant facial discomfort.

Common symptoms include:

• Facial pain or pressure (especially around the nose and forehead): This pain is often due to blocked sinus passages.
• Nasal congestion and difficulty breathing: Swollen sinus membranes can make it hard to breathe through the nose.
• Thick nasal discharge (yellow or green in infections): Indicates the presence of infection or prolonged inflammation.
• Headache: Often caused by sinus pressure build-up during sleep.
• Irritating cough and sore throat from postnasal drip: Mucus drainage irritates the throat, especially when lying down, resulting in needing to frequently ‘clear the throat’ or a constant, dry,annoying cough.

histamine comp 30C – can be a life-saver for most allergies as well as relieving the symptoms of allergies such as itching of eyes and skin, swelling and redness. This natural ‘anti-histamine’ will help build a ‘tolerance’ in the patient, towards the presenting antigen eg: dust, pollen, cat hair, etc)

Sinus congestion? If it’s triggered by an allergy, (ie: not colds or flu) then use histamine comp 30C and an hour or two later the sinus 30C and continue alternating until symptoms are gone – great for headaches and relieving a post nasal drip.

Unlike conventional antihistamines, which often cause drowsiness, a dry mouth and give only temporary relief at best, homeopathic remedies work to not only relieve symptoms, but to strengthen your body, build up immunity and prevent recurrence.

This remedy is also effective for skin rashes, urticaria and itchy eczema (a skin rash triggered by a reaction to food, medicine or other irritants) chicken pox and shingles. For shingles add injury 6C for nerve pain & inflammatory relief. Alternate the two remedies and include L-Lysine 1000mg twice daily.

NOTE: Muco-Drainol 30C

Alternate with the Pegasus Muco-Drainol 30C where mucous congestion occurs especially in the ears and sinus cavities (children under six years succumb easily as these cavities are small. This congestion is painful and it’s where secondary bacterial infection may set in.

Don’t use more than 3 different remedies a day, take each remedy separately at 30 min intervals and stop dosing when symptoms resolve.
